Intel has officially unveiled its first graphics card targeting budget-conscious gamers, the Arc A580 model. The new model is set to compete against Nvidia GTX 1650 / RTX 3050 and AMD RX 6600 cards. Despite being designed for the entry-level market, it stands out with its features and price.
Priced at $179, the Arc A580 boasts 24 Xe cores and 8GB of GDDR6 memory with a 256-bit data path. It is reported to have a clock speed of 1700 MHz and will support 1080p resolution in modern games thanks to features like XeSS. As for design partners, AsRock, Gunnir, and Sparkle are said to release special Arc A580 models. Gunnir is also working on a high-performance overclocked version with three fans.
The introductory price for this budget-friendly graphics card is set at $179 (approximately 4900 TL). However, it is expected to drop to as low as $150 within a few weeks, making it a serious alternative in the market.
Considering its competition with the RTX 3050, it’s worth noting that the RTX 3050 is priced around $300-$350.
Here are some key specifications of the Arc A580:
- Xe Cores: 24
